Recovery in the Lifestyle

Who we are:

"Recovery in the Lifestyle" is a fellowship of "BDSM" lifestyle people & guests who are "in recovery" or would like to be. It is based on AA's 12 Steps of Recovery and recognizes that anonymity is of the utmost importance for us all.

Ours are open meetings, as we invite our friends to attend. Being in the lifestyle, and having membership in ANY 12 Step Recovery program makes a person eligible for Recovery in the Lifestyle. We regularly have folks from AA, NA, GA, OA, DA, Al-Anon, and more.

Our upcoming meetings are:

• Sunday, July 20th, at 5:00pm for the hour prior to the S.P.I.C.E. meeting. This being held for the first time at a new location. The address is: 4340 NE 11th Avenue, Oakland Park, FL 33334 - to see a map of the area, please click here.


• Wednesday, July 29th, from 7:30pm to 8:30pm at the Lifestyle Alternatives Center (L.A.C.) in Palm Beach County, Florida (last Wednesday of the month).


• Wednesday, August 5th, at 7:00pm at Command Performance, 901 E. Sample Road, Pompano Beach, Florida (first Wednesday of the month).

On occasion the "Recovery in the Lifestyle" group is invited to participate in other outside events. We have been invited to hold a meeting at the (South East Leather Fest) Conference, the meeting will be held from 10:45am to 11:45am on Sunday the 14th

"Recovery in the Lifestyle" Recovery in the Lifestyle is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other, that they may solve their common problems and help others recover in the lifestyle. The only requirement for membership is a desire to be in recovery. There are no dues or fees for membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions. Recovery in the Lifestyle is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy, neither endorses nor opposes any causes. Our primary purpose is to stay in recovery and help others in the lifestyle to achieve it.
